Happy new year everyone! A brief progress report on the Freehead for this first Friday of the new year: It\u2019s as finished as I have time to work on it. Because this project is so interesting, it has gone way over the time I had set aside to finish it. There is still some air in the tilt axis that I haven\u2019t been able to get out, but it works acceptably. Time to move on to finishing up the camera and presenting a working package. Here you can see the Fox Freehead on a set of Burns & Sawyer wooden sticks. Didn\u2019t it clean up nicely?
