I think I have solved the various filament questions and the process for 3D printing the ARRI 2B/2C power adapter that allows you to use a standard 4-pin XLR cable with almost any stock ARRI 2B or 2C pistol grip motor. The six I have made so far are for the pistol grip motor that has one big pin and one small pin on the motor power connector. I will have some available soon for the motor power connector that uses two big pins. Things have been so busy, I haven’t had a chance to put these up on the website yet, but if you are interested, there are 6 units currently available. I know I also said that the ARRICAM ST would be listed on the website this week, but I haven’t gotten a chance to get that together yet. On a related note, I have been working with my friend Arnold Peterson to develop a retrofit module that will work with any working ARRI 2B or 2C pistol grip motor to convert it to variable speed and crystal sync. You can see a rendering of the concept art in the last image. More to come on that in the new year.
