We are still getting back into the swing of things after a short break for the holidays and new year, but we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their enthusiastic support of our ARRI 2B/2C power adapters and ARRI S power cables. All of this work is done by hand, one piece at a time, except for the 3D printed parts, so it has been a time consuming labor of love. There are more of both ARRI accessories in the process of being printed and assembled as we speak. In my shop, I can only machine the copper contact sleeves for the ARRI 2B/2C power adapters one at a time, and there are two different size holes for the plus and the minus contacts that must be machined. One of the last things I worked on before the holidays was a fixture that would let me machine the solder lugs onto the copper contact sleeves ten at a time. This setup let me make enough parts to complete 10 more of the ARRI 2B/2C power adapters in a reasonable amount of time. The ARRI S cables are made with a whole different set of machining processes. The copper contact sleeves for the ARRI S cables are based on metric size copper tubing, and I am in the process of making another fixture to speed up the machining of those. I expect to have 10 more of the ARRI S cables available in the next week or two. Thanks again for your support, and happy new year!
