I hope I am not boring you all to death with these how-to posts, but I want to make sure to answer some of the more interesting questions I have been getting. Plus, I want to instill a love of this old equipment in a new generation of movie makers. So, I sat down in front of a magazine and went over all the steps I go through every time I clean and load a Mitchell magazine. The process is similar with magazines from other manufacturers, but I am focusing here on a Mitchell magazine. The step-by-step instructions in our presentation apply to most Mitchell magazines, including the 400’ and 1000’ Standard, NC, and BNC magazines.
