Mystery Wooden Tripod

As we continue our quest through the backlog of tripods, I happened upon this cute wooden unit that lacks any identifying labels. The wooden legs are robustly made, but the integrated pan/tilt head was clearly designed for a smaller camera. This tripod features a cast aluminum pan/tilt head which is joined to the wooden legs with brass slotted hinge plates. It pans a full 360 degrees and tilts down approximately 20 degrees and up approximately 10 degrees. The legs are attached to the pan/tilt head by wingnuts. The wooden legs measure 40 inches in the fully collapsed position and extend to approximately 66 inches. The legs are held together by brass fittings and each leg is locked in place by two thumb screws. The adjustable section of the legs terminates in brass surveyors points. At one time, it clearly did have a label of some sort on one of the legs, and a serial number is stamped into the casting of the pan/tilt head. For those of you I haven’t bored to death with tripods, I was hoping someone might have seen a tripod like this before and might know who made it. Your help will be greatly appreciated! http://bit.ly/3HPzFkn
