Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all made it through the holidays in one piece. This first week back has been a short one, so I didn’t get much time to work on any of my ongoing projects. I did pick up the supplies for my first big project of 2024: a new set of display shelves for the showroom! A friend kindly made me this first set last year, and I have now gathered the required materials to build a second matching set. We have quickly run out of room to display things, so the table that we have been using these last few years needs to be retired and replaced with something new. Hopefully I will have time to build them in the next couple of weeks.
Sidenote: Have any of you ever been to Ganahl Lumber out in Torrance? I decided to get the wood for this project there and it is massive! And apparently the oldest lumber yard in California. Neat!
